Counsilman-Hunsaker, in association with Burgess & Niple Architects, was commissioned to provide a total renovation to the Hastings Pool in Upper Arlington, OH. The newly $4-million pool features all modern upgrades and was designed with state-of-the-art engineering equipment to help maintain durability and a long life span.
Amenities of the community outdoor leisure pool include:
• Zero-depth entry
• A variety of interactive aquatic play features
• Separate wading pool
• Two twenty-five foot high waterslides
• Vortex
• Lazy river
• Fitness lap lanes
• Diving well
• Hydro bench
• Men’s and women’s changing rooms and showers
• Concession stand
• Picnic pavilions
In 2005, Hastings Pool was the recipient of the ORPA’s ‘Superior Award’ for outstanding design.
