Cub Run RECenter is an expansive 65,000 SF facility that includes an indoor state-of-the-art aquatic facility with a leisure and competition pools.
The leisure pool includes a:
• 30-foot high slide that exits the building in an enclosed tube
• 20-foot high open-flume slide
• Spa
• Vortex
• Current channel
• Open shallow water area with zero-depth entry
• Interactive play features
The 25-yard by 25-meter competition pool includes:
• Poseidon drowning detection system
• Two three-meter diving boards
• Spectator seating for 175
In 2007, this facility won the ‘Best Overall Community Commitment to Aquatics’ award from Aquatics International magazine. And in 2006, Water Conditioning & Purification magazine touted the facility’s design on its cover.
