The waterscape is in tune with its desert appeal of breathtaking mountain views, botanical cactus gardens, and warm Mediterranean Colonial architecture. Tranquil and adventurous aquatic amenities amidst waterslides and waterfalls are set in a palm-studded rockscape. A freeform leisure pool refreshes travelers while unpredictable fountains and sprays cool Rancho Las Palmas’ youngest guests. A mountainside spa soothes visitors after experiencing all that the resort has to offer.
October 2007 brought the reopening of the newly up- graded family pool area with the addition of several new aquatic features designed by Counsilman-Hunsaker that include:
•New 6,000 sq. ft. lazy river with zero-depth entry onto a sand beach complete with shade structures and amenities
•Two 100 ft. long waterslides descending through a rock and landscaped mountain with splash down pool on the island
•Eight person elevated spa
•Splash pad with interactive water features, cannons, pop jets, and cabañas complete with fans and misters for resort guests
